Is forced abortion murder or some other crime?

If a man forces a woman to have an abortion against her will, is that murder? Or is it some other crime like destruction of property or assault? If a man tricks a woman into taking birth control pills, is that a crime? Given that men don't have a say over whether to have a child or not -- as women do, via abortion -- are such actions always wrong? Or might they be justifiable if a woman breaks her promise to have an abortion if she gets pregnant?

That is the story I'm referencing. I think the man violated her rights, but she violated his rights first. He had no legal recourse under the law so he took the law into his own hands.

Nathan Smith submitted a similar version of the question:

What sort of punishment should a man face (if any) who tricks his girlfriend into taking an abortion pill?

A man was sentenced to a fourteen year sentence for tricking his girlfriend into taking a Cytotec pill, which caused her to miscarry. Given that she wanted to deliver the baby, could he be tried for murder? Or if it is the case that the laws don't recognize the fetus as a human, would this just be an issue of the destruction of property? If that's the case, how would the courts assign value to that property?
