What's wrong with anarcho-capitalism?

Libertarian anarchists -- such as Murray Rothbard, Roy Childs, and Stefan Molyneux -- claim that anarcho-capitalism is the only political system compatible with the "non-aggression principle." Is that right? Must any government initiate force by excluding competing defense agencies, as anarchists claim? Should governments be abolished in favor of a private markets in force?

In the proper model, there is complete separation between state and the free market. This is the model we need to pursue. If we were to have anarchy, we would be at the mercy of any savage collective that would come along and completely change the system. The Ayn Rand Lexicon (aynrandlexicon.com) is a great source. Look at what Ayn Rand had to say about Anarchy (it is an alphabetized list).

A potential followup question, if it wasn't already implicitly included in the question, is: "Is there such a thing as the non-aggression principle? What should be made of this concept and its frequent invocation by rights-based libertarians?"
